Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Overview
A key member of the Executive Team, the Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO) will ensure the delivery of cohesive, efficient and effective Professional Services that align with the strategic objectives of the Trust. The role involves fulfilling the responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing key elements of the strategic planning and operational management of the Trust. You will maintain compliance with the academy trust regulatory framework and other relevant statutory requirements while fostering a culture that supports the Trust’s vision and values. Your leadership will ensure that HLA continues to grow and thrive, providing the highest level of educational support for our college, schools and students.

Salary
Salary from £95,000 to £105,000 per year dependent on experience.
Location
Horsham Learning Alliance Head Office (82 Hurst Road, Horsham, RH12 2EJ) with some travel to schools in the Trust. There is the possibility of some flexibility with working from home.
Personal attributes
As a key member of the Trust’s executive team, a strategic and cohesive approach to the business operations of the Trust is essential and you should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge across the Professional Services. You will have a recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification and have proven leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate multi-functional teams. We are looking for a leader who is innovative and willing to learn which is especially important as the Trust continues to grow with new local partners. In return, you will join at an exciting and pivotal stage of the Horsham Learning Alliance journey making a real difference to education in the local area.
